A Breath-taking work of embodied experience

This work is the result of collaborative effort, brought to you here by Ann Ritter, scholar and doctoral candidate, and Patton White, artistic director of Beacon Dance Company, and a host of talented contributors.  The video will be shown at Ann’s presentation at SPHS on October 8, 2015.

This video is the result of a project at the Beacon participants and the seniors.  Some of those involved say that they experienced their own versions of change as well.  The Roberts center people I think were able to see their ‘clients’ in a new light, and not just a bunch of people who they had to ‘tend’ to.  The researchers also acknowledge and thank the administrative and funding entities—the director of the Roberts center, the kitchen staff, and Janice Paine and the United Arts Council of Collier County.
